Gene ProfilesSearch for a gene in published data sets. You will be able to explore and visualize the expression of the indicated gene in each publication. Search for a Gene: A valid search term is a gene identifier or gene symbol. The '*' wild card character may also be used. GO terms such as 'kinase' may also be used. If the search term yields more than one gene, an intermediate list will be generated and a selection may be made from the list. Gene Profiles tool provides users an easy access to explore the entire clustered datasets from a given publication in SMD. This way a user can directly view clustered datasets, explore and interrogate SMD without going through data analysis pipeline. Gene Profiles also enables a user to search for expression data for a given gene in SMD. Further details are available on the Gene Profiles Help page.
